Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty Columbus, Ohio
The Liquid Rhinoplasty At Donaldson Plastic Surgery
When performed by a qualified injector, a liquid rhinoplasty (or “non-surgical nose job“) strikes the perfect balance between enhancing your already beautiful features and maintaining your natural facial identity. Non-surgical rhinoplasty is typically about correction and can make your nose less noticeable or distracting, allowing you to highlight other areas of your beauty.
Gorgeous, Natural-Looking Results Without The Downtime
Our injection filler specialists are experts when it comes to facial anatomy – but they also have an artistic eye for aesthetics. They take the time to truly understand your goals and don’t rush the treatment, ensuring you get the look you’ve always wanted. We prefer to use Juvederm Ultra, Voluma, RHA 3 or 4 as to ensure stronger structural integrity.
The Additional Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty Benefits:
- Your results are immediate
- This is a relatively fast, in-office procedure
- Results last between 9 and 12 months, depending on the filler
- There’s no recovery time other than swelling & the possibility of light bruising
- We can basically treat every single nose with this technique
FAQs About The Liquid Rhinoplasty
-
If your concern is a prominent dorsal hump, a droopy tip, an upturned nasal tip or a bulbous tip, you may be a good candidate for a nonsurgical rhino. While this treatment isn’t going to fix a crooked nose, it can help create the illusion of a straighter nose by adding volume to certain areas of the nose like the tip. Filler will mimic the bone structure, but we don’t structurally reset your bone like with a surgical rhinoplasty.
Have a flatter nose? Non-surgical rhinoplasty is especially effective in building up the bridge of the nose to give it an ideal elevation. However, if you have had rhinoplasty previously or have experienced physical trauma (like a broken nose), you may not be the best candidate for a non-surgical rhino. Surgical rhinoplasty may be the better option!

Non-surgical rhinoplasty can be completed in just one short visit! Some patients colloquially refer to this treatment as the “15-minute nose job.” However, it may take a little longer depending on your unique circumstances and you may need multiple visits to reach your goals.
If there are any changes you want to make, we can dissolve or add filler. We will wait 2 weeks and then address any asymmetry that remains after the swelling goes.
All sutures are dissolvable so they do not need to be taken out in the future. When you are finished, you will be offered a peek at your new look! Next, a layer of antibiotic ointment is applied, followed by sterile dressings and a light bandage.
-
Usually, half of a 1ml syringe will suffice. Often, as little as 0.2 to 0.5 ccs can get the job done – a little makes a big difference! Our experts may split the filler injections into two appointments (or more), as progress can be gradual. We want to avoid “overfilling” at all costs!
-
This treatment costs typically $1000 on average. The price may range depending on how many treatments you may need, or the type of filler used.
-
While the actual process is a little awkward (a pinched nose and an injection between the eyes), patients typically do quite well with liquid rhinoplasty and experience only a low level of pain/discomfort! Numbing options are available for added comfort.
-
Swelling, bruising, overfilling, and complications are associated with vascular occlusion from misplaced filler or too much filler. The nose has a weak blood supply, which makes it important to do small amounts at a time and build your results over two or more appointments. As your treatment date gets closer, we ask that you do not take any anti-inflammatories 7 days prior and don’t drink alcohol as to prevent bruising and other issues with healing.
Our providers also take their time to avoid overfilling above the dorsal hump between the eyes because it won’t be pleasing to the eye from a profile and will likely not align with your goals. -
After a non-surgical rhinoplasty, you will want to avoid excessive pressure on the area to not disrupt the filler. You should be careful when wearing glasses for a few days after the procedure- ensure that the metal clasp on the glasses is not too tight. You should avoid sleeping directly on your face or the side of your face as well for the days following your non-surgical rhinoplasty. We also suggest that you don’t work out for 3 days after the procedure.
